Department of Agriculture Comissioner Irvin is being asked to step down due to a salmonella outbreak that has killed 8 and "injured" another 500 across the US.

Honestly, this is not the fault of Irvin, the state, or the FDA for that matter. It is PCA's (Peanut Corporation of America) fault, they consistently had to go to multiple labs to get a negative reading for salmonella in there product, and shipped it out anyway. File a criminal suit against the executives, allow a few civil suits to form for the families of people who acctually died, and try to set up better lab reporting regulations to make it harder to create false negative readings,
