I was reading through Xavier's blog and happened upon this.
Very informative, and can't say I don't agree, for home protection I have a Mossberg 500 with a 14" barrel (yes I have a SBR stamp) and an adjustable stock, this allows both me and my wife (who has much shorter reach) to use the same weapon.
